00:10without a leash wherever I want to go. Really? Paddling without a leash?

00:16I learned that lesson the hard way. Paddling legend Salty Jefferson! So there I was,

00:23downwind stand-up paddling with my buddy, Hared Landleton. Hared wasn't wearing a leash.

00:29Suddenly, a whale surfaced underneath him. Being the waterman that he was,

00:35Hared rode right up on the whale's back like he was riding the rail on a snowboat.

00:40It didn't stick the landing though, and his boat flew away in the wind. Never saw him again.

00:47Part of freedom is being alive to enjoy it. Always wear your leash.
