00:00Since 12 noon this afternoon, the North Luzon Expressway has been in effect with a temporary toll relief.

00:11This is for those who pass through the NLEX Northbound from Balintawag to Maycawayan.

00:18This is for those who pass through the NLEX Northbound from Balintawag to Maycawayan.

00:31Once the NLEX is in effect, the repair works are being hastened so that the local traffic can return to normal.

00:39Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon is grateful to the NLEX for its support in its call

00:47to not allow toll fees to be imposed on affected motorists in the area.

00:54We are asking for fairness so that toll fees will be free from Balintawag to Maycawayan

01:05so that the area where there is a lot of traffic due to the damaged bridge,

01:13the NLEX will be free from toll fees starting today until the repair works are completed.

01:29Thank you very much to Mr. Mayor Pangilinan and the leadership of the NLEX and Metro Pacific for Maycaway.

01:37This is a great thing so that the burden of our fellow countrymen can be reduced

01:47due to the construction of the bridge in Maycawayan.
