00:15Really good. Welcome back. Last time we saw you was at ACL Music Festival. So I guess I should ask like, how were the holidays?

00:41How's your Austin trip in I heard some rumors about a

00:45Adventure at Matt sell Rancho we went and I've never been I've heard that it's great

00:50You got to go and I went and there was all these ambulances outside

00:54Someone I guess got like alcohol poisoning and was just like projectile in the stretcher projectile like crazy Wow

01:00So that was before we got there. So then I was okay and then people are getting carried out

01:04I think people can't handle the drinks there probably especially out of town. Yeah

01:09Yeah, I think they get you. Yeah

01:14It's never just a margarita

01:17Let's talk about this year musically wise

01:20What have you been up to what's coming up for the rest of this this calendar year?

01:24What are you looking at? Um, no touring really besides just probably some one-off stuff here and there

01:29but mainly just writing and recording just back in the basement just

01:33Nice and cold in the base

01:36That's right, it's my basement. Yeah, just get down there. I just say down here in Texas

01:40We don't have basements right because we have the limestone. I know I know I need a

01:46Basements who knew exactly. Yeah. Oh, that's great

01:49I'm asking everybody this question while we have you guys here

01:52Of course, there's so much live music going on this week your first concert your last concert and your best concert

01:58My first concert was at Crow's

02:00Restaurant in Sussex County, New Jersey in Sparta, New Jersey my hometown. Yep

02:05And it was you know in the corner of the room. No one listening cover songs

02:08I'm pretty sure I played an Edwin McCain song really. I'm pretty positive actually. Oh, yeah

02:14So that's what I was doing that and then what was it next question? So this is about shows you've seen though

02:24My first concert was Rolling Stones

02:28Metallands, yep giant stadium

02:30That was cool. He came out on this platform and it's like a fuzzy memory because I was so little right

02:34But it was like it did something to me. I think yeah, and then what was the last one I saw?

02:41Might have seen something this week maybe well

02:43Yeah, I guess this way like something you went to like that was like a particular artist, right?

02:47And you to see the artist so funny cuz I hate live music

02:53No, I know I love playing but I can't I we all everyone in the band agrees

02:57We're always like it's crazy. This is so loud. Like whenever we stand in front, we're like, oh my god drums are so loud

03:02I don't know. I would say I'm thinking maybe it couldn't be Radiohead. That was they haven't played in so long

03:08Yeah, that's the most real news. If that was maybe Bruce or something. I don't know. Oh, maybe Bruce at the garden

03:13Yeah, am I doing Bruce? Yeah, I was Edward Norton was sitting next to me really random

03:17It wasn't it was good seats, but it wasn't like boxing nothing like that. Just just Edward

03:27Bruce Springsteen up the garden was the best to see anyone at the garden

03:31It's so much better than like metal and or you know giant stadium whatever because it's too big over there and you're so far away

03:37The garden with someone like Bruce is it feels like you're here feels like you're right there

03:42Yeah, and that was just like I learned and he's like 80 and I'm still standing there going. Why is this so good?

03:48It's four hours again. I don't like live music. Oh, yeah

03:52And there's just there's that taught me a lot about just like a good show is based on not the light show

03:58It's not based on how cool you look and all that. Those are parts of it

04:01But the main thing is does everyone walk away feeling like no one else can get that experience

04:06That's what Bruce does, you know, and he doesn't need a light show to do it and it's cool. It's really absolutely
