00:13Your survival is imperative, so we've put together a quick guide to help new members

00:17of Blade thrive on this alien world.

00:21Whether you're in the city or the outskirts of Mira, it's important to explore.

00:27As you uncover more of the map, you'll be able to return to these places once you've

00:31unlocked Fast Travel.

00:36And while you're here, don't forget to place a probe.

00:39By placing a probe at Frontier Nav sites, you can passively collect resources, like

00:43Meranium.

00:46Keep an eye on how much Meranium you have.

00:48If you've reached your limit, you won't collect more, so spend it on upgrades.

00:54During your travels, pick up any items or resources you find along the way.

00:59Your inventory isn't restricted, so no need to worry about carrying too much.

01:05In New Los Angeles, talking to citizens or listening in on their conversations can unlock

01:10more missions.

01:13Accept missions as you go.

01:14You can have multiple active at a time, and it's good to multitask.

01:23Divisions are groups responsible for carrying out specific tasks for their squads.

01:28Joining a division is a great way to explore Mira.

01:33Say you're going to hunt monsters.

01:35Join the Harriers division first to get the most out of the work you are already setting

01:40out to do.

01:42Or if you're going around placing probes, you should join the Pathfinders.

01:46They're working to expand Blade's information network, so you can help them out while helping

01:50yourself.

01:51There are eight divisions you can join.

01:53Swap between them at any time in the Blade Barracks and pay attention to who you're working

01:57for.

01:58No matter which division you join, you're still entitled to daily rewards.

02:09When you encounter an enemy and draw your weapon, you'll begin attacking automatically.

02:14But arts are the true foundation of combat.

02:18Arts are more powerful than your standard attack, and they can have special effects,

02:22such as healing allies or debuffing foes.

02:26Arts are most effective when executed in a particular order.

02:30And when all else fails, stagger your enemy and go all out.

02:36Reduce the cooldown time on your arts using Quick Cooldown.

02:42But don't use up too much in case you're in real trouble later.

02:47And try not to button mash.

02:48Timing is key.

02:50If things aren't working out, you can always redistribute skill points for a nominal fee.

02:55You're never locked into your current build.

02:58Plus, try out different combinations of party members and vary them up to get the most out

03:04of your arts.
