With locations from Iowa to California the brand Footy Rooty has just got a foot in the door of the Rochester, Minnesota market. Located off Civic Center Dr NW within the Barlow plaza you will find this new store open for business. The slogan they have is Detox.Reflex.Relax and I had to go try out the foot massage service to see what it is all about.
Walking in I was greeted by a nice women that asked me what service I was interested in. The prices ranges from $35 dollars for 30 Minute Foot Reflexolgy to 90 Minute Body massage with a choice of Swedish or Eastern style of massage's. I selected a $35 dollar "Iconic Foot Detox" and went to the area with several reclining chairs and relaxed with a face mask that was heated as they prepared a tub with warm water to soak my feet. After about 30 minutes of soaking my feet the showed me that the color of the water tells different things about what my body is detoxing from. They then went into a 10 minute foot reflexology where they stretched my feet and massaged them.
I must say this was a first and overall the service was relaxing and if your working on your feet all day or need a way to decompress from the stress of life this was a very nice way to spend 30 minutes.
