00:00As it is said in the trailer, they go to rob a bank. They are doing a small heist.
00:11But while robbing, a lot of problems happen.
00:14And you will see the same story that how a small heist, a simple heist,
00:19drags them into a lot of trouble.
00:23So this is a story of such lovely characters, Latika and Palash, who are brothers and sisters.
00:28And how they make a plan to rob to save their home.
00:34And while doing that, a lot of problems happen.
00:42I think with each character, I have found a little bit of myself in them.
00:46With Lata, definitely there was a lot of resonation with the character.
00:50Because I never felt that I am from this area.
00:53So I used to be very happy in that period drama.
00:56But with Tulika, I realized that there is so much inside me that I have not understood yet.
01:03So with each character, I think I am trying to understand myself more.
01:13No, no, of course, I am very glad how my journey has panned out so far.
01:17Because I think I was going for the safer option.
01:20But success and joy will not lie in safety.
01:24So I am glad I ventured out of my comfort zone.
01:27And now here I am garnering so much love and validation from the people.
01:32So I am very grateful for the choices that have happened because of his choice, I would say.
01:42I think with every role, I am trying to, like I was saying earlier also,
01:46I am trying to understand myself better.
01:48And with every role, I would also say there is so much more layering to them than what is perceived by the eye.
01:55Because yes, I have earlier portrayed characters with a lot much more sensitivity.
02:01But so is Tulika's character like that.
02:03With Latika's character, on the other hand, she is as complex as it gets.
02:09Because she is driven by this sense of morality, which is then questioned by herself as well.
02:14And she started living in the grace.
02:16So I think as Tanya is evolving, so are her choices for her projects and the characters that she is choosing.
02:29I think both of them.
02:30I think I am drawn to characters that are well-written and who can make an impact also.
02:36But at the same time, also with each role, I am trying to challenge myself.
02:40Because these are all Tanyas that people who know Tanya have never seen.
02:47No, I am still in my youth.
02:49Why would I get tired of that?
02:51But I am just glad that people still see me in my prime.
02:56But no, I am just happy to see projects through their deliverance as in how they come.
03:11Oh, there is definitely so much more to her.
03:13Because she is actually, on the contrary, a very goody-two-shoes, at least in the start of the journey.
03:20And by the end of it, you will see that there has been a 180-degree shift in how she perceives the world.
03:27So there is no black and white anymore.
03:29There is just grace.
03:30And Latika is one such character, I think, who has really helped me explore this side of myself as well.
03:36It is not easy as such.
03:38But I definitely regard my script as my Bible.
03:42And I am that person who will know everybody's lines on set.
03:48So I would...
03:49I go for the script.
03:51I have to do everything by heart.
03:53Right from the, you know, the small things like the stage setup,
03:59from those instructions to everybody else's line, I would know all of that.
04:02So that is just how I get into the skin of the character.
04:05And definitely a lot of back and forth with the directors.
04:08Because with Tulika also, I think, with Nikhil sir, we are trying to build her from the page, you know.
04:14Like we were trying to make her alive and we were trying to bring her to life.
04:17And likewise with Latika.
04:18Because I have a very strong moral compass and Latika has a very strong moral compass.
04:24And likewise with Latika.
04:25Because I have a very strong moral compass and Latika also did to a certain point.
04:32And then she makes questionable choices and everything.
04:34So I think I needed a lot of clarity from my director as to how he wanted the character to be executed.
04:41Because it is very easy to, you know, cross that line between black and grey right now.
04:49So how do we make her live in the greys and how does she, you know, exist there?
04:53So that I think for me, my director's vision is my pathar ki lakit.
05:01And that is my only process.
05:03Just be thorough with the script and try and not judge your characters.
05:08Music
05:13Absolutely. I have been very, very lucky that these people have trusted me to play their characters.
05:22And to be a part of their story.
05:24But a lot of hard work has gone into all this.
05:26So, but yes, I think a lot of people work hard.
05:31But God's hand has been on me.
05:34Thank you, Mr. Charir.
05:35I have been very, very blessed in that sense that I have had so many people rooting for me and supporting me in my journey.
05:41Music
05:46I think it's, when I read it, it's a great moment in history for us.
05:52Because after surviving for nine months in space, I think with bare essentials, it's homecoming time.
05:59So hats off to these people who made it.
06:02Thank you, Sunita Williams, ma'am.
06:03Because I have no idea what she's been through.
06:06But you make us all so, so much proud.
