00:00First, I'd like to reiterate what the President said earlier following his call with President
00:04Zelensky this morning.
00:05He said he just completed a very good telephone call with President Zelensky.
00:10It lasted approximately one hour.
00:12Much of the discussion was based on the call made yesterday with President Putin in order
00:16to align both Russia and Ukraine in terms of their requests and needs.
00:20We are very much on track.
00:22President Trump also asked President Zelensky about the children who had gone missing from
00:26Ukraine during the war, including the ones that had been abducted.
00:30And President Trump promised to work closely with both parties to help make sure those
00:34children were returned home.
00:36They agreed all parties must continue the effort to make a ceasefire work.
00:40President Trump also discussed Ukraine's electrical supply and nuclear power plants.
00:45He said that the United States could be very helpful in running those plants with its electricity
00:49and utility expertise.
00:52American ownership of those plants would be the best protection for that infrastructure
00:55and support for Ukrainian energy infrastructure.
00:58We're looking at a lasting ceasefire.
01:00Right now we're at a partial ceasefire.
01:02But again, the President is sending his highly skilled, intelligent and experienced team
01:07to Saudi Arabia later this week to continue fighting for peace in this conflict.
01:11And I would just reiterate one more time, we have never been closer to peace than we
01:15are today.
01:16Thank you very much, everybody.
