00:00The Kuala Lumpur City Council has approved a new location for the relocation of a historic Hindu temple, which was announced ahead of the renovation plan.
00:12In the statement, DBKL stated that the relocation of the Dewi Sri Patra Kaliamat temple will be carried out in a straightforward, fair and constructive manner with the stakeholders to ensure the smoothness of its implementation.
00:26DBKL also gave a commitment that it will not carry out any structural changes to the temple at the site and it can operate as usual until the relocation process is completed.
00:37Earlier, DBKL said that its party took note of the proposal to build a mosque on the land owned by a private company on the road to Masjid India, Kuala Lumpur.
00:47It is said that the land owned by the private company is a concern because a small part of it houses the Dewi Sri Patra Kaliamat temple.
