00:12Due to the establishment of the new Urgent Care and Ambulatory Services of Bukas Center in Solana, Cagayan,

00:18the residents here and the neighbors who traveled a long distance to visit the big hospitals will not be needed.

00:26The number of patients in their DOH hospitals, especially in Cagayan Valley Medical Center, will also increase and decrease.

00:33The establishment of these centers is a transformative response to the challenge in healthcare access,

00:41ensuring that patients receive timely and appropriate medical attention while reducing the burden on hospitals.

00:49Aside from outpatient services,

00:51one of the benefits of the residents of Bukas Center is surgery, mobile clinics with laboratory services, and telemedicine.

01:01One of the residents who is thankful and is sure that the center will help is Barangay Gadoo.

01:07This is a great project if it continues because aside from helping people,

01:14it will bring health services closer to them, especially to those who have financial difficulties.

01:24Bukas Center is part of the 284-28x28 initiative of Health Secretary Chedoro Herbosa

01:31that will be able to establish 28 Bukas Centers by the end of 2028.

01:37Its goal is to provide accessible and high-quality healthcare services to 28 million Filipinos.
