00:04coming up in the week ahead. It is, of course, the week when British summertime officially begins.

00:10The start of daylight saving time will see the clocks move forward for one hour on Sunday.

00:17In politics, Chancellor Rachel Reeves is set to deliver her spring statement on March 26th

00:23against the background of a faltering economy. The mid-year economic update will outline

00:29public finance forecasts and potential policy changes. The Chancellor's statement this year

00:35is due to be delivered alongside the publication of an impact assessment of the government's planned

00:40changes to the welfare system that were announced last week. In culture, a colourful carnival is

00:47taking place in Rotherham on Saturday with music, puppets and performances from local groups.

00:52There'll be a procession through the streets as well as free activities and workshops

00:56and Jitterbug, which is a giant interactive inflatable sculpture.

01:00Roots Rotherham Street Carnival is part of the Borough's Children's Capital of Culture programme

01:05this year. And in television, nominations are set to be announced for the BAFTA TV Awards.

01:32leads the way this year with 45 nominations across the 29 categories, whilst Channel 4 received 14.
