00:00The National Council of Churches of the Philippines approved the arrest of former President Rodrigo Duterte.

00:06In a statement, the NCCP said that the unwavering support of those calling for justice

00:12in the face of the widespread culture of killing serves as hope

00:17for the Filipino people who will continue to call for justice

00:21and answer those who are behind the violation of human rights.

00:26The Council also prays that the former President will be given due process

00:30for the thousands of Filipino victims of the violent drug war.
