00:08The Commission on Elections has approved the exemption from the spending ban of several programs of the DSWD,

00:15including the exempted from the Sustainable Livelihood Program,

00:18assistance to the Kaposangkita Program or AKAP, Social Pension for Indigenous Senior Citizens, and others.

00:24According to the Commission, elective officials and candidates in the distribution of assistance are now strictly prohibited.

00:31The presence of an election officer of the municipality is also required in one of the activities.

00:53More than 1,500 residents of Basay, Samar have gathered in Basay Municipal Gym, Basay, Samar

01:00to avail various government services and programs through the Lab for All Program led by First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos.

01:11Health services are included here through the Department of Health,

01:15Social Services of the Department of Social Welfare and Development of the DSWD,

01:20Legal Services of the Public Attorney's Office.

01:23The Department of Agriculture, Business Registration, Free Mentoring Services of the Department of Trade and Industry or DTI,

01:33and other government services will also be provided.

01:35According to Mayor Luz Ponferrada, this is the first time this program has been held in their town.

01:42That's why many people are eager to choose their town as the venue for the Lab for All activity.

01:49Ponferrada also added that even though 1,500 are the target beneficiary,

01:54if it exceeds, there will be a contingency due to the expected walk-ins.
