Forget The Oven—Microwave Your Bacon

When you need bacon fast, turn to the microwave for perfect bacon without any of the greasy mess.

00:05but you hate cleaning bacon grease

00:07off of your entire kitchen when you're done,

00:09do it like me and make it in the microwave.

00:11And I know what you're thinking.

00:12Don't I need a million different contraptions

00:13to make good microwave bacon?

00:15You don't.

00:16You just need some paper towels and a plate.

00:18Grab a microwave-safe plate

00:19and layer it with three layers of paper towel.

00:21Put your bacon on the paper towel with no overlap,

00:24and then top that with two more layers of paper towel.

00:27Then you're gonna microwave on high for four to six minutes

00:30until your bacon is nice and crisp.

00:32Check it halfway through.

00:33These are general guidelines,

00:35but this is not a one-size-fits-all approach.

00:38Microwave wattage is gonna vary,

00:39and so will the thickness of your bacon.

00:41So keep that in mind

00:42and keep checking every two to three minutes.
