00:02What do you say to Americans who want safe streets but are concerned due process is being

00:09Ms. Sanders The President is using every lever of his
00:12executive authority and his constitutional authority within the bounds of the immigration
00:17laws of our country to ensure that our streets are safer for law-abiding American citizens.
00:23And this administration is focused on detaining, arresting, and deporting illegal criminal
00:27aliens.
00:28And as you saw this past weekend, the President used his authority under the Alien Enemies
00:33Act to deport foreign terrorists.
00:36Tren de Aragua is now a designated foreign terrorist organization.
00:40And as I said, there were nearly 200 Tren de Aragua members who were sent to El Salvador
00:45this weekend.
00:46Countless lives will be saved because of this action.
00:50And if you talk to the families, the Angel families, as I mentioned, Blake and Riley
00:54and Jocelyn Nungare, they understand the grave cost of life at the hands of these
01:00illegal terrorists.
01:02And the President is proud to deliver on that promise for them.
01:04The Press And just to follow up on that, this will be
01:06challenged later today in the courts.
01:09Does the President, you know, does this allow him to defy the court order without having
01:15this – the checks and balances and the separation of power?

01:19In fact, this administration acted within the confines of the law, again, within the
01:23President's constitutional authority and under the authority granted to him under the
01:28Alien Enemies Act.
01:29We are quite confident in that, and we are wholly confident that we are going to win
01:33this case in court.
