00:05Season 6 is right around the corner and with that comes a fresh new take on Las Vegas.
00:10Welcome to Las Vegas Stadium.
00:13Right away you can see that the map is themed around the sponsors,
00:16which all have their own unique identity represented in their architectural style.
00:21Alpha Acta, a weapons defense company, has a brutalistic style with concrete and wooden elements.
00:27Compare this to Ospius, an energy drink maker that uses new and modern materials,
00:32such as plastic, neon signs and animated billboards.
00:36Finally, our cutting edge communications company NGMO,
00:39with animated cables and pipes running through its hallways.
00:44As you can see, we have reduced a lot of visual clutter and assets,
00:48especially in the interior spaces, so players can flow through the arena without getting stuck.
00:53You will find the main routes are much cleaner and more readable,
00:56making it easier to identify exit and entry points, such as doorways and staircases.
01:01Updating our existing maps helps us to keep the game evolving,
01:05allows us to improve on our design by smoothing out challenges and pain points,
01:09and to create fun, seasonal themes,
01:11which allows us to spend more time on keeping every arena polished, balanced and exciting.
01:17This visual upgrade will offer a new and unique player experience,
01:21and who knows, maybe the original Las Vegas map will return someday.
