00:16That's according to sources familiar with the matter and an internal memo seen by Reuters,

00:21which shows 41 countries divided into three separate groups.

00:26The first group of 10 countries, including citizens from Afghanistan, Iran, Syria, Cuba

00:32and North Korea, would be set for a full visa suspension.

00:36The second group of five countries, Eritrea, Haiti, Laos, Myanmar and South Sudan, would

00:42face partial visa suspensions.

00:45The third group, which includes Belarus and Pakistan, would be considered for a partial

00:50visa suspension too if, according to the memo, their governments, quote, do not make

00:55efforts to address deficiencies within 60 days.

00:59A U.S. official told Reuters there could be changes on the list and that it was yet to

01:04be approved by the administration.

01:06When Trump took office on January 20th, he issued an executive order requiring intensified

01:12security vetting of any foreigners seeking U.S. entry.

01:17That order directed several Cabinet members to submit by March 21st a list of countries

01:23from which travel should be partly or fully suspended.

01:26The State Department did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Reuters.
