Would you switch to an electric vehicle even despite the serious lack of EV charges in the UK? If Britain wants to switch to electric, why does the lack of EV charges in British streets pose a hurdle?

00:00I think I'd only consider getting an electric vehicle when there are more readily available charging points.

00:07Even the charging points aside, the electricity I charge in them is still mostly generated by fossil fuels.

00:14They say it's the future, and they're starting to push it, and you can understand why.

00:18They're a lot more environmentally friendly, but that goes hand in hand with being able to charge them.

00:25If they get electric cars, I think they need more chargers.

00:29If people can't charge them, they're not going to switch in the first place,

00:32but hopefully before it gets that far, people will see just what a lie the whole electric vehicle industry is.

00:39It's doing more harm than good. There's nothing environmentally friendly about them.

00:43There needs to be a long-term plan to get more charging points in,

00:47because there's still, and will be, I think, as far ahead as the eye can see,

00:53a big difference with the number of, shall we say, petrol stations, the number of electric charging points.
