Pork Shop in Poulton Food Review

00:00Hello, my name is Luke Patrick, I'm a reporter for the Lancashire Post.
00:04I've just got back from Poulter Nuffard where I visited the Pork Shop, which is a very popular bakery in Poulter.
00:10I really wanted to try all the places that have been hit with the locals.
00:13When I went there it was very busy, it shows it's really, really popular.
00:18I decided to get a large sausage roll and a steak and onion pie.
00:22I think my favourite was the sausage roll, the pastry was really nice and crunchy and flaky
00:26and the sausage had a nice texture and a nice bite to it and a strong meaty flavour that wasn't lost in the rest of the pastry.
00:31And with the steak and onion pie, I think I liked individual bits of it, such as the pastry and the steak filling
00:36but the only thing that let it down for me personally was the gelatin around the edges.
00:40I thought it was a little bit too much and I wasn't a massive fan of the texture
00:45but I still enjoyed visiting the Pork Shop.
00:47All the staff were really friendly, all the other baked goods looked really, really good
00:52and despite this I can definitely see myself going again sometime soon to try everything on the menu.
