00:00A fire has reduced seven premises in Kundesang to ashes, including several grocery shops

00:09The blaze swept through three grocery shops, two homestays, an 11-door rental block and

00:15a storage facility for grocery items, all non-permanent structures, Thursday night.

00:20According to the Sabah Fire and Rescue Department Operations Centre, 15 firefighters from the

00:26Ranau Station rushed to the scene after receiving a report at 8.37pm.

00:31With the assistance and cooperation of the police, civil defence force and Sabah Electricity,

00:37the fire extinguishing operation was successfully completed at 12.52am.

00:42Fortunately, no casualties were reported.

00:46Authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire and assessing the full extent

00:51of the damage.
