Miller Townsend at the new John Hunter Hospital building

Miller Townsend, 8, at the topping-out ceremony at the new seven-storey building at John Hunter Hospital with NSW Health Minister Ryan Park. Miller  has a condition called Diamond-Blackfan anemia (DBA).

00:00What did you think when you came out of the lift from the top of the building?

00:13I was pretty scared to come out of it, but I just felt like I should come out so I did.

00:24I'm sure I'm proud of people walking towards me, people taking pictures, and then a lot

00:31of people like helping talking to me and making me talk which I'm used to now and they think

00:40I'm famous.

00:42It is kind of fun to be up here and I think we should do this again for someone else that

00:49needs it.

00:51It's just like fun to go over and look at my friend up in the plane up there and it's

01:00fun to just like have thumbs up and look at him and call him and watch him go down at

01:09the day end.

01:11How high up are we?

01:13Like just as high as the story time.

01:16So what would mum think you're up this high?

01:19She would have sweat because I get down right now and that's the end of my story.
