00:09there a general consensus amongst the population on this issue of autonomy?

00:16Yes, it's been on a ballot for 46 years and we had the possibility to become a

00:23sovereign state for 16 years, so it's been on the ballot for every election

00:28and we want to put a stop for that and we need to activate it and be willing to

00:35work on our independence and then the people in the end will choose if the

00:42negotiated agreement with the government of Denmark or any other country, if

00:46Denmark doesn't, if Denmark wants to secede from Greenland, that is what is

00:50the threat is, they are threatening us by leaving Greenland militarily and also

00:55not giving us any subsidies anymore, so if Denmark wants to secede from

01:02Greenland, the problem is that other countries, other powerful countries will

01:07become interested in Greenland and that is what what's happening right now.
