00:03No, but we want to cooperate with the United States closer, and what is non-negotiable

00:09here is that Greenland wants to become a sovereign state, member of the UN and other international

00:16organizations, but we are fully aware that we need to cooperate with a bigger state.

00:25It could be Denmark.

00:26We have talked with Denmark in regards to a more equal cooperation, but it seems to

00:34not go that way, and we are in a way thankful of Donald Trump's connection to Greenland

00:42and his communication in regards to Greenland, and he wants to protect the Arctic and the

00:47world for security, and that is some positive things that we hear.

00:56The only thing that we don't want in Greenland is that we don't want to be owned by any other

01:03state.

01:04Denmark annexed us in 1953, and we don't want to be annexed again, so we want a free and

01:11democratic referendum for Greenland's independence and statehood, but we are not naive, and we

01:20of course need to cooperate with the United States and Denmark and even other allies.
