00:00Rated M for Mature Here at Rebellion, we first showcased the
00:04official gameplay overview trailer for Atomfall earlier this year.
00:08In February of 2025, we invited you to an exclusive deep-dive preview, offering you
00:13a closer look at the game's world, mechanics, and survival elements.
00:17Our first-person action survival game launches on March 27th, and we're excited to share
00:22a snippet of new gameplay.
00:24Today, we venture into the Castafel Woods, one of the many possible areas you may visit
00:29throughout your journey.
00:30The Castafel Woods are lush, with trees, creeks, and winding paths.
00:35This is the home of the Druids, a mask-wearing cult that worships a strange voice calling
00:40them to the soil.
00:41They will not hesitate to harm any outsiders that trespass in these woods.
00:47Following a critical lead, we set out to find the mysterious Mother Jago near an old mine,
00:53hoping she can provide the answers or assistance we need.
04:23Well, hello, a new face!
04:47Come closer, and don't bite!
04:51Don't mind me.
04:53Everybody knows Mother Jago around here.
04:55I mean, no harm.
04:57Folks that find their way to me are usually in need of something.
05:02What's on your mind, dear?
05:04Perhaps I can help.
05:07Oh, you found it!
05:10Lovely!
05:11Sorry, the directions were a bit vague.
05:14I have to keep my head down, you see.
05:17Certain soldier types from the village don't take kindly to more, oh, let's say,
05:23traditional practices.
05:25Town bread, you see.
05:27I provide remedies and tonics where I can to those that most need them.
05:31And I can offer some other supplies, too.
05:34Have a browse, if you like.
05:39Still getting the hang of these woods, eh?
05:43Well, maybe I can help you with that.
05:46Like the rest of the zone, we've got our share of outlaws,
05:50and things that bite and sting if you get too close.
05:54Then there are the druids, the mask-wearers,
05:57out in the thickest part of the woods.
06:00They've set up a little camp there in the ruins of the old castle.
06:04They hear what they call the voice in the soil,
06:08and, well, worship it, I suppose you'd say.
06:14Their customs aren't what city folk would call civilized, it's true.
06:19Not for the faint-hearted. Not at all.
06:23Listen, a curious soul like yours,
06:28perhaps you are interested in a deeper understanding of this place.
06:33I can offer you that,
06:36if, in exchange, you would help me with a small matter.
06:42You must have something of mine, my herbalism book.
06:46I'd like it back.
06:48Nothing worth killing over, you understand?
06:51But I would like it back.
06:54They've probably got it stowed away somewhere in their castle.
07:01Take care, won't you?
07:12Come on. We don't know-
07:18Stop! Bloody right.
07:27Sorry, kid.
07:42Come on.
08:12Come on.
08:42Hi.
09:12Hi.
09:27You have experienced the woods.
09:32You should avoid the woods when possible.
09:37The woods are dangerous.
09:40Be careful.
10:10Welcome-
10:40Come on.
11:10Come on.
11:40Not a lot of time.
11:57Avoid the woods. Avoid the woods.
12:01You'll die.
12:11Come on.
12:17I wish I understood. Now!
12:21Good.
12:41Not safe yet.
12:43Oi, heretics!
12:45We'll die.
13:10Come on.
13:40Come on.
14:11Come on.
14:34Somewhere, there are doubts.
14:40Come on.
15:03There's someone over there!
15:10Come on.
15:40Come on.
16:03You will be more use dead.
16:10Come on.
16:25Take this.
16:35Right, you.
16:40Come on.
16:43Where'd you run off to, then?
17:10I'm glad to see you again, dear.
17:14Well, well. I'll be honest.
17:17You ask anyone to help you around here, and the chances of ever seeing them alive again are not wonderful.
17:23Very pleased you're an exception, dear.
17:31Oh, my dear, everyone tries to kill everyone.
17:37Oh, my dear, everyone tries to kill everyone here, it sometimes seems.
17:42I must admit, I knew that they don't like strangers, especially since their precious voice in the soil became so loud for them a few years ago.
17:50I was curious to see how you'd handle yourself.
17:54Of course, I always knew you would, dear. I felt it.
17:59Please, take this. A token of my gratitude.
18:03It's a sort of learning juice made by the scientists.
18:08You can sometimes find it in their old bunkers.
18:11Not much good came of those boffins and their science, but this stuff is marvellous.
18:17It opens the mind, you see.
18:20Of course, a fair trade in compensation is one thing I can offer.
18:26But listen, what is it you need?
18:31Perhaps an escape from all this suffering?
18:38It is indeed something within my power, but the first step toward escape is understanding.
18:46Look, you and I may have more in common than you realise.
18:52If you'll trust me, I can send you somewhere where you might find some answers.
18:59Something more than I alone can offer.
