00:00Harry, first defeat in a very long time, how did you see that one?
00:11I wasn't expecting a win, I was expecting a draw to be honest. I think a few decisions
00:17definitely went against us, but there were times where he didn't deserve to score definitely,
00:23so I think we deserved a draw, but a loss, it was a long time coming to be honest.
00:30I think we were our own worst enemy on that one, we quite clearly had some chances in
00:35the first half we could have put away, like we didn't, which has been a failure for not
00:41just this season, but for a while now we haven't had a regular goal scorer, but they worked
00:47hard today at the Albion, created chances, didn't take them, but we also were a bit sloppy
00:53on them, especially for their first goal I think. I'll be thinking to myself, Palmer,
01:00he could have done better with that, but he's had a great season and as I say, I'm not despondent,
01:10but I'm a little down at the moment.
01:13First half, both sides had spells, maybe unfortunate to go in at the break one down,
01:18but that first 15 minutes of the second half seemed to cost them, what do you think went
01:22wrong for them? They looked like a different team at the start of the second half.
01:24Yeah, I think we switched forward to back, which in theory would have been better, as
01:30we had a lot of time, I think it was just a mix of us changing at a time when they were
01:35quite strong, just to work our teams together. For me, we just let them dwell on the ball
01:44too much and they were dictating things in the second half, whereas in the first half
01:49we were dictating and we needed that bit more in the middle, somebody in the middle to take
01:58over and dictate. I think he tried the gaffer there, bringing Swift and Wallace on to do
02:04that. Unfortunately, it didn't quite come off. So I'm not despondent. Looking back to
02:13this time last year, we weren't sure we'd have a club. I'm glad the new owner and I'm
02:23glad all that. It'll take a while. We'll settle into it and we'll build and build and build
02:31and build. Hopefully this season we'll still get into the play-offs.
02:36And heading into Christmas now, the January trance window is coming up. Where do they
02:41need to strengthen? There's probably a few positions, but what are the priorities for
02:45you?
02:46The same as the past few years, an out-and-out strike that can score goals. We've not had
02:51the same sort of goalscoring rate since Dwight Gale and Jay Rodriguez. We scored a load just
02:56like we did against Liverpool in 2002. If we can get that again, it would really up
03:00our chances.
03:01Again, when we are in ascendancy and we do have the players to do that, we seem to lack
03:13that killer touch. It's that final ball, the killer touch. I saw a little bit of that Liverpool
03:24game last night and they were down and out and down and out. Finally, somebody twiddles
03:29away and they've got a... alright, that's a Premier League, I know, but if you have
03:36that type of player, which we haven't had in my mind now, of our own, we haven't had
03:41that type of player since Kev Phillips, really. If he'd have had that chance at the death
03:46there with the header, he'd have put that away, you see.
03:49And that's... I've still got his book at home. My dad gave it to me when I was growing up.
03:55It's bloody old and it was way back in the 50s, but the title of the book is, it's goals
04:01that count. Nothing else but goals that count. But, as I said, I'm not despondent, but we
04:08will rebound. We'll come back.
