00:13Both clinics are said to be conducting cosmetic surgery procedures.
00:18City Immigration Director Wan Mohamad Sopiwan Yusof said enforcement officers from the KL
00:24Health Department also took part in the operation dubbed Ops Dan Dan.
00:30Nine Vietnamese and two locals, a man and a woman, were detained.
00:35Wan Mohamad Sopi said the locals were acting as agents for the clinic and were given a
00:40commission of between 5% and 10% of the fees.
00:44Among the cosmetic surgeries offered were for eyelids, noses and facelifts.
00:49Services offered ranged from 1,000 to 15,000 ringgit for the male doctor from Vietnam,
00:55who allegedly does not have a license to practice in Malaysia.
00:58The agents also promoted the cosmetic surgery services on social media.
