00:06The Department of Energy or DOE has asked all LPG industry players to follow the LPG Industry Regulation Act

00:13to avoid administrator and criminal penalties.

00:16According to the DOE, a fine of P100,000 for each item that does not comply with the regulation

00:23for up to 12 years of imprisonment.

00:27According to the DOE, these penalties are to protect consumers from possible incidents

00:35such as the explosion of an LPG.

00:37It also protects the integrity of the LPG industry sector if it follows the law.

00:42Meanwhile, almost 7,000 LPG players are registered across the country.
