00:22As the election nears, the number of violators arrested in Comelec checkpoints continues to
00:26increase. According to the latest data from the PNP, the number of arrested individuals has reached
00:31more than 1,500. The highest number of violators are from the National Capital Region or NCR,
00:37totaling 499. Along with this, the number of recovered firearms has also increased to 1,592.
00:45Most of these were confiscated during police responses, followed by operations under OLEO,
00:50anti-illegal drug operations, checkpoints, and gun-by-bus operations. A total of 387,564
00:57checkpoints have been conducted nationwide. Meanwhile, the PNP has recorded 11 validated
