Brendan Orthorn, hello sir. Hello, how you doing? I'm good thank you matey. We're here in
00:04
Wensbury in the in the shadow of the library and you've got a bit of a
00:07
special event coming up, launching a CD. That's right yeah, me and Kerry Halford
00:12
have spent the last, really the last few years I suppose, putting together a new
00:18
collection of our songs. It's a follow-on CD from an album we did a while back
00:24
called Because. This album's called, by so it goes, it's called Halfway to
00:29
Somewhere and it was you know pretty much a premonition I think in some ways
00:37
because we started to record the CD just before Covid, then obviously everything
00:43
closed down. We couldn't get to see each other and then remember the old
00:49
terminology of latency, we couldn't rehearse properly over the internet so
00:55
we continued to share songs and and so forth and we managed to get back this
01:00
last few months and start putting all the singles and the songs back together
01:05
again. So what is it, it's, who's doing the vocals then? We both do vocals
01:10
and Kerry mainly plays keyboards on this and I play guitars and we've got five
01:17
songs written by each of us to make it a, you know, we sort of bring songs to
01:23
the table and we see what's going to work for us and then we work with
01:29
each other's sound to get the so it goes sound. And if people want to
01:34
find out a bit more or order a CD, if they just Google? So it goes dot dot dot
01:40
there is a website up now and Kerry's just sorting out all the socials I
01:45
believe they call it these days yeah so yeah I mean just look it up so it goes
01:50
but remember the three dots. Cool. Give us a little taste of it, a little intro or
01:55
something. Okay yeah this is On My Darkest Days which is on the the album
02:00
Halfway to Somewhere.
02:02
🎶
02:25
If you want to hear any more, come over to the Lawn Shop, buy the CD.
02:30
