Family Run Retailer, Boyes opens their 80th Store, in Market Drayton!

00:00Hi my name is Fiona Lawson, I'm a regional manager with the company Boys. As you can see we have

00:07opened our store today in the lovely town of Market Drayton. It's our first store in this

00:13local area of Shropshire and so we're super excited about that. Now we've taken over the

00:19building that was once the Wilko store and now I'm sure that that was very well received in

00:26the area and it was a great loss for them to sadly not be here. But hopefully we are the sort

00:31of business that will bring that same community, the products, the variety, the value for money

00:41that you would have wanted from the Wilko's branch, we are bringing that as well. We have additional

00:47items of fashion, obviously we're seasonal at the moment so we've got a lot of gardening products,

00:54Easter, Mother's Day, all the things that you would expect to find in this kind of a store.

01:00It is quite a super store for us because it's store 80, quite a milestone and so we're very

01:07pleased with that. We are a family firm so it's very important to us that we add something to

01:16a community, that we are your local store, that we will look after you, that we will be there to ask

01:24any questions, that you answer any questions, to look after you as soon as you step up through the

01:30door. And we have employed our team locally so you will recognise the people you come to visit

01:40so hopefully you'll get a very warm welcome from people that you recognise and we'll be able to

01:46instill in you what choice means to our business.
