The London Question: Are you concerned about climate change?

00:01I'm pretty worried about it.

00:02I think it is real.

00:03Contrary to belief.

00:04Climate change is just falling off of the agenda within media, within politics.

00:08The warning signs there, it's like every year it seems to be getting worse and worse.

00:12I think that it's something that a lot of people are in denial about.

00:16Unfortunately the scepticism around climate change hasn't really gone away.

00:21Governments lead the way on this.

00:23I think citizens can't really change anything unless there's a top-down approach to it.

00:29There's a certain amount that we can do as the public,

00:32but the majority of it needs to come down to large companies and big corporations.

00:37It's all good recycling and trying to do what you can to stop that kind of thing,

00:42and reusing things.

00:43But when it comes down to it, we're a small portion of what's being created.

00:47In order to make the big substantial change, you have to have the big actors.

00:51You have to have governments, you have to have big organisations,

00:54not just greenwashing, but being super serious and being creative.

00:58We're definitely seeing the effects of climate change in London.

01:01Every year has been the hottest year on record, and that's only going to increase.

01:04We need more green spaces.

01:05There's also massive risks of flooding as well.

01:08We're very prone to flooding in London, and that's only going to increase.

01:11So yeah, we need more action for sure.
