00:00Expecting more employment generation for the Filipinos.

00:05In front of that is the expected decline of investors who want to build a business in the Philippines.

00:12Alvin Baltazar of Radyo Pilipinas, in the news for the country.

00:19The Palace announced that there are more businessmen who want to invest in the country.

00:24The announcement was made by the Palace Press Officer and PCO Undersecretary, Atty. Claire Castro,

00:29in the midst of the continuous rise in the number of Filipinos who have jobs this January 2025.

00:36According to Castro, it will help those who are expected to enter the economy,

00:41not just to strengthen the economy.

00:44It is important that the program on employment generation is well-organized for more Filipinos.

00:51A move by Castro that the government is doing to make Filipinos more competitive

00:56and easier to find jobs is the strengthening of skills training.

01:02More businessmen will invest to help strengthen our economy.

01:11And there is a better program on employment generation for more Filipinos.

01:19It is also important, according to Atty. Castro, that the Create More Act is made

01:23so that more businessmen can live in the Philippines and give more jobs to Filipinos.

01:29The government is also working on re-skilling and up-skilling,

01:33especially the need to have access to new technology

01:36so that Filipinos will have more job opportunities and a higher quality of life.

01:44Because of the Create More Act, more businessmen are moving to the Philippines

01:50to generate more jobs and opportunities in the IT-PBM sector

01:59through re-skilling and up-skilling to have access to new technology.

02:06According to the January 2025 Labor Force Survey,

02:11more Filipinos have jobs worth P50.65 million.

02:17This is higher than P48.06 million in January 2024.
