Pappadà (Provincia di Lecce): “A lavoro per contrastare le discriminazioni sul lavoro”

(Adnkronos) - La consigliera di parità effettiva della Provincia di Lecce “si occupa di contrastare tutte le discriminazioni che avvengono in capo alle lavoratrici ai lavoratori sui luoghi di lavoro offrendo sostegno stragiudiziale in via stragiudiziale e giudiziale a tutte le cittadine e i cittadini che per motivi di lavoro abbiano subito discriminazioni”.  Lo ha detto Antonella Pappadà - Consigliera di Parità effettiva della Provincia di Lecce, partecipando alla prima tappa dell’anno di “Innamòrati di Te”, il progetto itinerante ideato e organizzato a Lecce da Codere Italia, multinazionale di riferimento nel settore del gioco legale.

00:00What is the role of the Council of Equality?

00:05The Council of Equality is an institutional figure appointed by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies,

00:12coordinated by the province of Lecce,

00:15and as such, it is concerned with countering all the discriminations

00:20that occur to workers in the workplace.

00:24I offer extrajudicial and judicial support to all citizens

00:32who, for work reasons, have been discriminated against,

00:36such as harassment, bullying, maternity leave,

00:40a whole series of discriminations that apply to workplaces.

00:45In the event that citizens or citizens, workers,

00:49find themselves in these situations,

00:52they can turn to the Council of Equality,

00:55report the situation,

00:57the Council of Equality will examine the case,

01:00evaluate whether there are actually the assumptions of what is complained about,

01:05and will provide free legal assistance

01:08thanks to the support of lawyers specialized in anti-discrimination law.
