00:26President Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr. hastens the construction of daycare centers for the poor in barangays and LGUs.

00:34We said, Mr. President, it is very important to fix our learning crisis.

00:38And it will start from the beginning.

00:40All children need to have the right nutrition.

00:42They need to have access to early childhood when they reach 3 to 4 years old.

00:46That's why he said, let's not wait any longer.

00:49Because our proposal is actually 700 million over 3 years.

00:56The children are poor. This is very important. Let's do it now.

00:59According to EDCOM 2, Budget Secretary Amina Pangandaman said that the construction of CDCs can start this year.

01:08And because EDCOM is focused on LGUs without CDCs, the implementation of the project will be faster

01:22The Council for the Welfare of Children approved the President's approval of the fund.
