00:04I feel like, obviously it's difficult, you know, we're in a cultural transition period.

00:11The manager needs some space, everybody's getting used to it, but we've got a good culture and a good environment.

00:17We've got great facilities at the training ground.

00:21Everybody works hard every single day to improve.

00:25Everybody respects that from us.

00:27We all work together to push us to our limits every day to get better and better.

00:32It's always one of us, more of eight of us, to do a better each day.

00:37You speak a lot about intensity, with and without the ball.

00:42What's that like?

00:44It's intense. It is intense, yeah.

00:47As you can imagine, every single session is one where we are working, really putting in the work.

00:55Sticking to the intensity that he wants and seeing what we can do to better ourselves as a team.

01:02Is it a bit different from the ball too?

01:04Because if you actually look at your results, your best results this season have been when you had less of the ball.

01:11Yeah, it's definitely different.

01:13I think you can see that by watching from the outside.

01:17Every single manager has their own ideas, their own ways of getting things across, different training sessions and that sort of stuff.

01:25For us as a team, the most important thing for us is to try and win games.

01:31That doesn't change.

01:33It doesn't change, so whoever it is leading us as a group, we're always going to be 100% to try and lay out our ideas.

01:47What was the manager's words to you just before you went on the pitch?

01:50Because your impact was pretty immediate.

01:52Do you know what? He didn't need to say anything to me today.

01:57Obviously, as a senior former on the bench, I'm watching the game and analysing things.

02:03I wanted to make an impact on the pitch.

02:06Thankfully, I did that today.

02:08I enjoyed the turn on the ball.

02:10I knew that the space opened up.

02:12I just knew that he had the ability to slip it through and push it up nicely.

02:16It's your first goal since October.

02:18Has that been playing on your mind at all?

02:20Do you know what? I'm always wanting to score goals.

02:23Obviously, I've had a couple of numbers in between, so it's not been straight through.

02:29It's better to get the score sheet, but more importantly, it's better to get it for the points.

02:34The team comes before every point count.

02:36That's important for us at Brighton.

02:39We've been that group since the start.

02:41Obviously, you look at the situation as a lead-saver now.

02:43You now have a level of points with Bournemouth.

02:45Does it feel like you're very much in the hunt for a European footballer for the next season?

02:50Well, the table obviously speaks for itself.

03:05You can start getting distracted from those sorts of things.

03:08For us, that's just something we've got to focus on the next game.
