00:17This March, the Philippine National Trail Running Championships will be held in the well-known hiking trails in Danau City, Cebu.
00:2540 athletes, including Southeast Asian medallists, seasoned national team members, and veteran trail runners will compete in the elite category.
00:35In addition, more than 700 athletes will compete in the open category for the Long Trail, Short Trail, and Under-23 Mountain Classic event.
00:44According to Team Ferrera, Vice President and Secretary General of FILTRA,
00:48the selection process for the national pool that will be sent to the World Mountain and Trail Running Championships will also be held.
00:56This is the culminating event for them, for us to identify who is the national team for this coming year's season,
01:06and also a selection of who will be our delegation for the World Championships.
01:12Ferrera added that they will continue to select the national team as a preparation for other international competitions this year.
