00:20The health update mentions that the Pope was still receiving oxygen, quote, although it
00:24slightly reduced flow and oxygen percentage, meaning he is able to breathe better on his
00:29own.
00:30It adds that the mild kidney insufficiency first reported on Sunday, February 23, was
00:34not a cause for concern.
00:36A Vatican official speaking anonymously said Francis was eating normally and was able to
00:40get up and move around his hospital room.
00:43Monday's statement also said the Pope resumed his work in the afternoon.
00:46He later made a call to the Catholic parish in Gaza, which he has done frequently during
00:51the Israel-Hamas conflict.
