00:00Hello there, good evening. Quite a wet start across parts of the south and south-east,
00:04so that rain cleared away nicely this afternoon. Though it has left behind plenty of showers
00:09though, particularly across parts of the north-west and western parts of the country too. These
00:13will slowly skirt their way eastwards, once again overnight they could be heavy with some
00:17hail and thunder, perhaps even some longer spells of rain merging into parts of the south
00:21too. And it's going to be fairly blustery at times across the far north-west, particularly
00:25the beginning of the evening, but by the morning these winds easing away slightly. And with
00:29those lighter winds we may even see some patchy frost across parts of the north, but most
00:33towns and cities holding up just above freezing. Then as we head into tomorrow, once again
00:39a fairly bright start for many of us, but we still are going to see plenty of showers.
00:43Once again these mainly confined to the far north-west, where they still will be a little
00:46bit blustery at times. And then through the afternoon we'll see a few more showers starting
00:50to bubble up across parts of England and Wales. Once again a risk they could be heavy with
00:55the odd rumble of thunder and lightning. But for many there should be lots of dry weather
01:00around, lots of sunshine, and temperatures a slight dip compared to what we saw today,
01:04but still highs of around 10 to 11, possibly even 12 Celsius, so still above average for
01:09the time of year. Through into the evening, still plenty of showers, though they will
01:14eventually die away, particularly across eastern areas as we head through the overnight period.
01:19And with plenty of clear skies, that means temperatures are going to soon dip away. Once
01:22again we may even see some patchy frost, particularly across the far north-east of
01:26Scotland for example, and even some towns and cities dropping into the low single figures.
01:30But a change is on its way from the west, something slightly milder once again moving
01:34through with some heavy rain and also turning fairly windy under these cloudier skies too.
01:39So particularly across Wales and parts of the south-west, it could be quite a wet start
01:43as we head into Wednesday. And this rain will move its way erratically eastwards across
01:46the country too, turning quite blustery with some heavy and persistent downpours at times,
01:51and turning a little bit brighter across the far north-west, but once again still seeing
01:54plenty of those showers too. And temperatures remaining fairly similar as we head into tomorrow
01:59as well, highs of around 10 to 11 Celsius across the south.
02:04And if you're sick of the rain, for the rest of the week I do have some good news. We've
02:07got high pressure building out from the Atlantic, pushing across the country, and that means
02:12we're going to see plenty of settled conditions for Thursday and Friday, plenty of dry weather
02:16and sunshine, but it does mean things will turn a little bit chilly overnight, so likely
02:20to see some frosty mornings ahead. Otherwise, I hope you have a good week. Bye bye.
