People of Glasgow share their thoughts on the NHS from recent experiences of getting appointments

The NHS is one of the most relavent political issues of the day with trust in the health service gradually decreasing.

00:00The most recent experience was this morning I had a blood test, results came out good

00:06so I was quite pleased. What could have been improved was the booking process.

00:11I think, you know, let's say if I have some kind of, you know, illness or a disease, it

00:16makes me wait for around like weeks to just, you know, get into the appointment with the

00:21doctor. And I think that's something, as someone who's, you know, suffering from some disease,

00:28I think that's not good for me or, you know, anyone who's suffering from any kind of disease

00:31or illness, be it chronic or, you know, temporary.

00:34If they had a script they worked to, it would be more efficient because I think every time

00:41I make an appointment, the script is different and the call takes longer. Whereas if they

00:49made it a more efficient process, they'd get through them a lot quicker.

00:52I've never had any recent experiences, to be honest, but I think they do it pretty well.

00:56I haven't really had any experience recently, so.
