00:00Former Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob was rushed to the hospital after fainting and

00:07passed out this morning.

00:09His staff, Iqmal Hakim, confirmed the incident in a short message, adding that they are

00:16waiting for a doctor's report to find out the cause of the incident.

00:20Following a post on Facebook, former Ismail's staff, Yuri Azhahmazlan, said,

00:26Ismail was taken to the Sunway Medical Center in Damansara at 2.30 a.m.

00:32It is understood that his condition is now stable and he is with his family.

00:37For the record, Ismail, who is also a member of the Parliament, served as the 9th Prime Minister

00:43from 2001 to 2022.
