00:29Countless elderly people were barred from seeing their relatives and condemned to die alone.

00:36Shame on them and shame on us for allowing it to happen.

00:39The long-term effects on children are a ticking time bomb.

00:43We didn't follow the science, we followed the politics.

00:48Vaccine passports were brought in.

00:50Excess deaths led to the trending of the phrase, died suddenly.

00:55The booster had only been tested on eight mice.

00:59Fool me once, shame on you.

01:01Fool me twice, shame on me.

01:03It's easy to look the other way, focus on new news stories and allow the flawed COVID response to fade into history.

01:11But we mustn't forget, not just because of what was taken from us, but for the future, because this pandemic won't be the last.
