French president Emmanuel Macron says he will tell Donald Trump to "not be weak" in the face of Vladimir Putin, when he travels to the White House to discuss America's move to end Russia's war in Ukraine on Monday.

00:25And so Donald Trump creates uncertainty for Vladimir Putin.

00:28It's a very good thing for us.

00:30And in fact, that's what's happening.

00:33Donald Trump comes in with a new administration and the

00:36Russian president looks at him and he doesn't know what he's going to do.

00:40And he says to himself, he's capable of everything.

00:43It creates uncertainty.

00:45Well, this uncertainty, it's good for us and for Ukraine.

00:48You just have to manage to, in a way,

00:51structure what's going to come next.

00:53And so the plan of peace, solid and sustainable.
