00:00Are you willing to do a drone over? Good, that's what I like to hear.
00:07I always forget about my headphones.
00:11Thank you. Any questions?
00:16Any of our events before? First time?
00:30People are forced to be without their phones. They hand their phones in at the start, so there's literally no way they can be distracted.
00:42If you're at home, you might have that feeling of you put your phone in a different room, but you can still go and grab it.
00:48Here, there's the intentional putting your phone away.
00:53We seem to find that every hangout that we're putting on at the moment sells out.
00:57I think that's just testament to the fact that people really do want to get away from their phones.
01:02I can spend anywhere between six and eight hours on my phone a day, especially on the weekend if I'm not working.
01:27It's compulsive and almost addictive in a way.
01:41You don't realise the extent of the addiction. You're not conscious that you are in fact addicted.
01:48But then when you are released from the phone, you realise, oh actually, I'm feeling the urge to look at my phone somehow and scroll and look at random content for no reason at all.
02:04It's quite freeing actually, to be in a moment without it.
02:17You can't, you won't look a day over 21.
