00:00In the SEC, it's hard to argue with the nation's best conference this season in men's college

00:06hoops, where the number one team in the country resides for a sixth consecutive week. DRS,

00:12last night at home, number one Auburn booked as a 16 and a half point favorite against Arkansas.

00:18Coach Cal and his Razorbacks played better as of late, covering in four of their last five

00:24in trying to play spoiler as that hefty dog. The Hogs nearly did a one point lead with about three

00:31minutes remaining in regulation before Auburn figured something out down the home stretch,

00:36pulling away as good teams do. Not a cover, but a win for the Auburn Tigers, 67-60 over Arkansas

00:45last night at home. Yeah, I wasn't sure which Auburn we were going to get. Did we think they

00:50were going to get a victory as over two touchdown favorites? Sure we did, but I don't know if I

00:53want to lay that number because, as you know, being a handicapper, spots do make sense as

00:57opposed to just X's and O's. Is Auburn a much better basketball team than Arkansas? Absolutely

01:02they are. You have to understand when you're coming off your biggest game, you can't say in

01:06program history, but boy it felt like it won verse two on the road in that iron bowl battle that

01:10they were able to come up victorious and sort of come back home and decompress and still get a

01:14victory. The one thing I did like in this game is I explained the team total under for Arkansas

01:18because I thought it was a good defensive matchup for the Auburn Tigers and it worked out perfectly.

01:23Forty-five percent as a team for Arkansas on the run, which isn't bad, but three-point range,

01:27three of 19, only 15 percent. Then from the free throw line, seven of 14, only 50 percent.

01:33If you're going to win close games against number one teams in the country, you better make more

01:37than 50 percent of your free throws because certainly down the stretch that's going to make

01:41a big difference. Then Auburn from an offensive perspective, they shot four of 24 from three-point

01:46range, only 16 percent and shot 40 percent as a team and still won. Why? Because they played very

01:51good defense and held out the end and as we always say, Ben, home court advantage absolutely

01:56matters in these big conferences and you saw that play out yesterday. Didn't bring their A game,

02:00but still won. Important win.
