00:00You opened up about bullying, about being bullied, I don't think I know this part of your life.

00:14I guess, Kuya, it's not something that I really share and I didn't make a big deal about it.

00:21But you were bullied?

00:24I think, when I was small.

00:27Because it's new, Kuya, right?

00:31So, everywhere, even in school, when you're a new student,

00:35they kind of underestimate you because you're the new one.

00:39Because you don't know anyone.

00:41Me too, especially when I was young, you know me, I was very introvert, especially back then.

00:46I didn't know how to talk, I had no social skills at all.

00:51You were bullied a lot, right?

00:53Yes, a lot of times.

00:55And maybe because I didn't have many friends because I didn't know how to make friends.

01:03And also, because my grandmother didn't have a lot of money,

01:10we were the simplest.

01:13And when I say the simplest, how do we put it?

01:18We were the simplest.

01:22Almost none.

01:24And we were okay with that.

01:26So, this bullying comes from your family or the showbiz that you face?

01:32It's a mix of that.

01:34I feel like the toxic side of being in the industry hurts.

01:37And we all know that.

01:39But I guess what I'm proud of is that,

01:42we always chose to be the kind ones regardless.

01:50I hear that here and there.

01:52But I didn't know that you were serious about it.

01:56I carried it.

01:57Until now?

01:58Not anymore.

02:00But I'm sure you learned out of that.

02:02I learned. It became a motivation, actually.

02:05And from all the experiences I went through,

02:07of course, as a child,

02:09sometimes when you're a child, you can't help but compare yourself to your peers.

02:18And that's what I'm talking about.

02:20For example, all of my peers had sponsors.

02:24They had beautiful things.

02:27My grandmother and I brought a blanket from Palenque.

02:30It was a thin yellow plastic blanket.

02:33We brought one or two thin blankets.

02:37And I repeated that in the multiple episodes of the show.

02:41Because that's what I had.

02:43Of course, at that time, because I was young,

02:45it would make me sad.

02:46And it wanted me to have what the others had.

02:49But as I grew up, and as my grandmother always told me,

02:53she always said,

02:55your time will come.

02:57Always.

02:59When she catches me looking and wanting something I don't have,

03:04she always says,

03:06your time will come. Just wait.

03:08And true enough, I held on to that.

03:12Every time I prayed,

03:14I always told my mom and my dad up in heaven,

03:18Mama told me, my time will come.

03:21And I waited.

03:23And then, thankfully, this happened.

03:26I was able to focus on what I was doing with my grandmother.

03:30And it's my motivation that she sees where I am now.

03:35That I worked hard.

03:37Because she told me, my time will come.
