00:00Your campaign slogan is Bagong Boses, Bagong Bukwas, but your critics are saying that it's

00:09the same family, that the filial family has been in the government.

00:11So how can you be a new voice and a new future?

00:14Yes, actually I've heard that a lot.

00:16So yes, our family has been in public service for a long time, and I haven't seen that problem

00:24because in fact, my parents were my inspiration to become a public servant.

00:29They were the ones who taught me the importance of magpakumbaba, magsipag atyaga para umasenso

00:35so that we can support the businesses and to help as many people as we can.

00:41However, ako, belonging to the millennial generation, iba na yung mundong kinalakihan ko.

00:46Meron nang marami ng advancements in technologies, marami ng advancements and changes around

00:52the world, na I feel we have to input in our legislations and in our programs.

00:58For example, in our educational sector, yung ating mga kabataan, in addition to giving

01:05them scholarships, we should examine, baka dapat bigyan sila ng libring tablet, pati

01:10na rin ang ating mga guru.

01:11That should be part of our curriculum and part of our educational program because moving

01:15forward, how do we make yung ating mga studyante and yung ating mga graduates competitive para

01:22magkaroon sila ng trabaho kung wala silang libro or wala silang mga tablets, diba?

01:28So there are a lot of innovations na dapat ipasok natin.

01:32So yun yung bagong pananaw, bagong aksyon at bagong solusyon na ina-advocate ko kasi

01:38I belong to a younger generation.

01:40So yes, yung mga problema na nais natin i-address katulad ng unemployment, yung pagdagdag ng

01:46trabaho, di sapat na kita, o kaya yung pagtaas ng presyo ng bilin, palagi na natin pinag-uusapan

01:52yan.

01:53So even in the plight of the overseas Filipinos, panahon pa ng papa ko pinag-uusapan natin

01:57yan.

01:58Pero baka ngayon mayroon na tayong mga bagong solusyon na pwedeng i-add at that's what I

02:05want to bring to the table.
