00:00The Department of Migrant Workers clarified that it will not implement a mass deportation in the United States

00:07for undocumented Filipinos in the country.

00:11In a statement to Bagong Pilipinas Ngayon,

00:13DMW Secretary Hans Liu Kakdak said that he does not want the undocumented Filipinos in America to be afraid.

00:22Kakdak assured the Department of Foreign Affairs Secretary Manalo Atdivega.

00:30Even to the consulates of the government in the United States,

00:33so that the well-being of our fellow Filipinos is assured.

00:37As of now, there is no deportation happening,

00:40but the DMW stands ready.

00:44Again, those that I mentioned earlier,

00:46Action Fund, Repatriation Command, and Reintegration,

00:50all of those will come into play once an OFW requires repatriation,

00:54whether in the United States or elsewhere.
