00:12In a statement of Radyo Pilipinas, PTO-FMS Executive Director Jose Torres, Jr. said
00:19that the latest report of the Committee to Protect Journalists is a result of the assistance of various sectors
00:26from the police, government, civil society group, and various media organizations.
00:32In order to continue to protect journalists, the Task Force conducts training
00:38in various parts of the country, including the cover-up of calamities
00:43and the upcoming 2025 midterm elections.
00:47In addition, PTO-FMS also monitors the murder cases of journalists
00:53so that those who are behind the election of Torres continue to follow the steps of the government
01:01under President R. Marcos to protect the members of the media.
