00:00Hi, I'm Olga Borovska, I'm Ukrainian, living in JVT for four years now.

00:19We bought our villa just before COVID time and at that time the pricing was really low.

00:29So we are happy that we live here and now if I look at the market price, the prices

00:36are quite almost double.

00:41So the price when we bought it was around two million and now it's 3.5 and 4 if it's

00:47renovated and if there is swimming pool, up to four and a half million here.

00:54What I like about this community, big gardens.

00:58If you look around here, it's beautiful, big gardens.

01:05You will not find much now because they built now more townhouse style, so everything is

01:13very small and in this case, I like it.

01:17It's quite quiet here and the distance to Marina, let's say 12 minutes by car.

01:25I believe it's quite a decent distance to be far from high buildings and to stay in

01:35the nature.

01:37So the parks are beautiful here, the playgrounds we have a lot.

01:43We have tennis courts and paddle courts, they are also built now, basketball and volleyball

01:52playgrounds.

01:54I mean, it's a very, very decent community.

01:58The only thing we are missing is a swimming pool and the gym.

02:02We have a Facebook group, even two.

02:08So if something happens, we help each other.

02:13Sometimes the Amazon delivery is in the wrong address or someone is posting, we look in

02:17the print and find out if it's yours.

02:21People help each other.

02:22It was recently the Halloween party and people who decorated their houses for Halloween.

02:29It was a trick or treat for the kids.

02:34They were all going with the nannies, with the costumes.

02:37They were entering the houses, getting their candies.

02:40So beautiful.

02:43Also for New Year, people decorate their houses.

02:46Also for Diwali, for example, I also put some lights.

02:49I just like to have some lights.

02:54So people are helping each other.

02:58It's very helpful.

02:59So if somebody is looking for a nanny or recommending the gardener or wants to share some experience

03:06with some company who, I don't know, clean the outdoor furniture or clean the barbecue.

03:11So everybody always in the group, there is something going on and people are really helpful.

03:19Every year, I'm posting in the group like around August time and trying to get new clients.

03:29Not just new clients, just to inform people that I'm doing yoga here and people are responding.

03:37But sometimes, you know, the timings, the this and so, but I still work here in the

03:43community and I love people.

03:45I think it's very convenient.

03:47People are coming because they don't need to drive 30 minutes and then 30 minutes to

03:52come back.

03:53They don't need to stay in the traffic.

03:54So they just can walk or they can take a car and very short, two, three minutes distance

03:59they can arrive to me.

04:02I'm from Switzerland.

04:04I grew up in Switzerland, but originally I'm from Turkey.

04:07Okay.

04:08So when did you come to Dubai?

04:09To Dubai?

04:10We arrived first of July, actually, and we were staying first on the Palm to get known

04:17about the communities around and to find the right place to live.

04:21Okay.

04:22So you chose JVT.

04:24Tell us about that.

04:25Exactly.

04:26We chose JVT and it took us a while to get actually this community because we were honestly

04:32looking before in other communities like Dubai Hills, Arabian Range, Springs, etc.

04:42And after we saw the property where we are living now and we walked in, I saw the garden

04:48and I knew that's the place where we want to be with our two small kids.

04:54Yeah.

04:55Okay.

04:56So what was the main reason for you to choose to live in JVT?

05:00It is, I think it's a combination of a lot of things.

05:04It's like the money wise plus the huge compound you're getting, I think the value for the

05:12money which you're getting is in JVT at the moment the best place to invest or to rent

05:18something.

05:19Yeah.

05:20Okay.

05:21And how do you like the sizes that the villas offer in JVT?

05:26They're pretty big and really nice made and you have a lot of options to as well to make

05:33it bigger as you like.

05:35And the garden is just huge and amazing and you have really place to breathe and the nice

05:40thing is as well, you have a lot of parks around which are very nicely made.

06:05I'm a mom of two.

06:07We moved to JVT in 2015.

06:11So my husband is into IT and I'm into marketing.

06:14We have two kids of eight years old and three years old.

06:18So yeah, the journey in JVT from 2015 has been very transitional in nature and we've

06:25actually seen how JVT has blossomed into the community that it is right now.

06:31So back in 2015 when we were expecting our first baby, my husband decided that you know

06:36what, we need to go to a bigger space in an apartment where you have space for the kids

06:41to run, for the dogs to run and we came here.

06:46And I remember my first drive into JVT, there was just one supermarket, triangle supermarket

06:51and another one further down the line.

06:55And my first reaction was, oh my God, am I going to give birth here?

07:01And you know, the drive to the hospital, it all scared me.

07:04But what was amazing was even at that time, the connectivity of JVT to all the other areas,

07:10to let's say the main places or the busy places like your Burr Dubai or even Marina, JBR,

07:16very, very accessible.

07:18So and then of course, we began to love the community.

07:21In 2015, we rented all the way till 2018 when we decided to buy a property.

07:28So I have seen this place really blossom from having just a couple of groceries to actually

07:33having full-fledged supermarkets, from having just, you know, tennis courts and play areas

07:40for kids to having paddle courts, badminton, dog parks off late, and even a small cricket

07:46practice ground.

07:48So even in terms of the kind of nationalities that have come in, it is diversified over

07:53a period of time.

07:54There are two amazing schools here, Sunmark, which is a part of Fortis Education.

08:00They have their Jumeirah International Nurseries here.

08:02Both my kids go there.

08:04And of course, Arcadia as well, the primary and the secondary.

08:08So yeah, it's an amazing community.

08:11And I think a lot of the reason why people prefer this community is because of the ability

08:15for you to grow your house as you grow as a family.

08:19So you know, very few communities actually have that.

08:24So from here, you can buy a two-bed, extend it into a four-bed or a five-bed or a six-bed,

08:30put a pool as per whatever your family needs.

08:33So yeah, from that perspective, JVT is a great community.

08:37Because you have this as a mixing pot of cultures, you actually find people just coming in and

08:43helping you.

08:44The community is extremely, extremely friendly as well.

08:47So people don't bother you, but they are extremely helpful if you reach out and ask for help.

08:59And I am a mother for three kids.

09:03My old son, he is like 14 now, and the other one is nine and eight.

09:11And my life like only in the house, between gym.

09:18You know, like all the moms, how are they doing every day?

09:21I am living last three years, and we are, my kids are very comfortable here.

09:30Because I feel the area is like family area, and everything is close by.

09:37And I like more like the park for the kids, there is place to play for the football, basketball.

09:45So you know, number one, we think about the kids, how they are comfortable.

09:51And plus like the location also for JVT is very nice.

09:57Like wherever you want to go, everything is around close by.

10:01Yeah.

10:02Okay.

10:03So why did you choose to come and live in JVT?

10:09I don't like apartment first.

10:11I feel like when you live in apartment, you are not free, even if you are inside your

10:16place.

10:20Like everything rules is there.

10:22But here when I came to JVT, I feel more free for me and my kids.

10:28And like family area more, it's good for family.
