00:00This is the PTV Balita for today.

00:09In 403 cities and municipalities, areas of concern have been declared to be under siege

00:15guarded by the Armed Forces of the Philippines,

00:18led by the upcoming National Assembly in May.

00:21According to AFP Spokesperson-General Francel Margaret Padilla,

00:25188 of these are in the Yellow category, 177 are in the Orange category, while 38 are in the Red category.

00:34The areas under the Yellow category have a history of election-related violence

00:39while there is a serious threat of armed groups in the Orange category.

00:44The areas under the Red category are considered to have a serious threat of violence

00:49and there are incidents of chaos whenever there is a riot.

00:5218,000 AFP personnel will be deployed to assist the PNP in maintaining security and a peaceful election.

01:00AFP has also declared that it is alerted to various security threats

01:05from all armed groups such as the New People's Army, Private Armed Groups, RIDO, and others.

01:13Meanwhile, PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group is tracking down the owner of LPG Refilling Station in Caloocan City.

01:21This is after the raid of CIDG Regional Field Unit NCR, the illegal LPG Refilling Station in Barangay Santa Quinteria.

01:29Eight individuals, including the company driver, were arrested for the raid.

01:34The suspects were brought to Camp Kramie where the case will be filed against them.
