00:00Today we are here celebrating the 7th edition of the Arab Reading Challenge.
00:14Mashallah, in the UAE alone, around 514,000 students participated.
00:20You can imagine, half a million students, each one read 50 books.
00:25This will really boost the knowledge.
00:27Because we in the UAE are very proud of the knowledge-based economy.
00:30And to do that you need people who are reading.
00:33And when they read, they become talents.
00:35So we are very proud.
00:37All the thanks to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum
00:40because he is the one who created this Arab Reading Challenge back in 2015.
00:44And you can see the huge impact.
00:46There are lots of criteria, number of books.
00:49It's not only about reading the book, it's about comprehending the book.
00:52Being able to answer the question of the judges.
00:55Being able to summarize it.
